It was my bestfriend Tiffany who recommend this resto. Eversince, I would tag friends and family to try their Mongalian buffet.

Oh, another must try is their pies and cake. Dad likes their Apple Pies. While my bro and sis love their Mango Cream Pie.

Trave Expo at SMX Convention Center

Went to the 15th Travel Expo at SMX Convention Center last week.

There's a lot of cheap travel packages. Unfortunately, the promo are valid only during the duration of the expo.

I've made a mental note to be prepared next year. I better start saving now.

Countryside Restaurant

Once in a while, my dad would request for Igado, an Ilocano dish. Unfortunately, there are few carinderias (eateries) who sell such dish.

Luckily, Countryside Restaurant whom I know to have serve authentic and delicious Filipino dishes has Igado in their menu.

Aside from Igado (Php 70), my family loves their Kalderetang Baka (Php 80) and lechon paksiw (Php 70).

The place also serves barbecue, isaw and more.

Executive Check,up Package @ Medical City

Yesterday, I went with Dad and Don to Medical City, Ortigas. We want to check on their Executive check-up packages.

Dad and Mom are not getting any younger but still health is weallth. Actually, it's ideal to have a check-up every year.

Since we are there I also inquired about package for me. Yes, they have and it cost Php 29k.

Dong Bei Dumpling House

We discovered this place two years ago. Remembering how soft the softness of the beef when we ordered the beef noodles, we made note to come back to this place. Two years later, we finally find the time to visit Ongpin, Manila.

We ordered several dishes starting with the steamed dumplings - shrimp and vegetable. (Php 100/10pbs). Then, xiao long pao (Php 60/4pcs), soy bean noodles - handmade thick noodles with cucumber (Php 100).

We're supposed to order the beef noodle. Anyway, the soy bean noodle is like spaghetti but Xiamen style.

I am disappointed with xiao long pao. After my Shanghai trip, I'm scouting for that dumpling with soup inside.

Lastly, we had the fried chicken with sinjiang flavor (Php 180) and fried rice (Php 60).

I love the chicken it was soft and yummy.

MRT-3 Ticket Vending Machine

I wonder why there are still long lines at the 'Exact Fare' booth if we already have a ticket vending machine.

Cooking Free Range Chicken

Today, I went to Edsa Garden House to attend a free seminar on how to cook a free ranged chicken with herbs.


Mrs. Sandy Itchon shared with us two ways. One, roasted chicken. Two, chicken soup.

There are no exact measurements and recipe.

For the roasted chicken, rub chicken with marjoram, tarragon, rosemary, sweet basil, garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper. Then inside the turbo broiler placed a baking dish with unpeeled marbled potatoes (of course, thoroughly wash) Then, place the chicken on top of the bed of potatoes. Then, turbo broil for 1hour or till done.

For the chicken soup, water, lemongrass, garlic, salt and pepper. Then, add chicken. Cook with low fire for 1hr.

We had food tasting and it was really delicious!

Mister Kebab at West Avenue

Our favorite shawarma place has open a new branch along West Avenue, Quezon City. The place is bigger and has a big parking space at the back.

We ordered Shawarma Plate (Php 60) and Special Chelo Kebab (Php 75).

My new phone

After contemplating for the longest time, I decided to purchase a new phone. Got this kinda expensive. Gray market sells at Php 18k but because I'm after monthly installments I got this phone for Php 23,970. That's about Php 1,982.50 per month. Plus, 1 yr warranty and a chance to win a Boracay trip.
